Cognitive Rehabilitation

An active intervention process, subsequent to (or complementary to) the assessment, aimed at strengthening specific cognitive functions and developing practical strategies for daily life. It is not "doing exercises" here and there: it is a personalised plan, based on the person’s cognitive profile, with concrete and measurable goals.

A plan made for you

We start from the results of a neuropsychological assessment —our own or another professional’s— to design an intervention that fits your real profile. It is not about loose exercises, but a journey with concrete, measurable goals that can be applied to your daily life.

What does it offer?

An individualised, non-generic intervention plan based on a real cognitive profile.
Strategies that can be applied immediately to daily, work or academic life.
Sustained support over time, with tracking of concrete goals.
A space to also work on the emotional impact of living with cognitive difficulties that are not always visible to others.

How does it work?

1

Starting point

We start from the results of a neuropsychological assessment (our own or another professional’s) that identifies strengths and areas to work on.

2

Designing the plan

We define specific goals together: improving organisation at work? time management? working memory? frustration regulation?

3

Intervention sessions

Weekly or biweekly sessions (in person or online) combining specific exercises, practice of strategies and review of their application in real life.

4

Follow-up and adjustment

The plan is reviewed periodically and adjusted according to progress, difficulties or changes in the person’s goals.

Who is it for?

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a previous assessment to start cognitive rehabilitation?

Ideally yes, because it allows designing a plan adjusted to your real profile. If you do not have one, we can start there.

How long does the process last?

It varies according to the goals. Some plans last a few months and others are sustained over time as continuous support.

Can it be done online?

Yes, most sessions can be done online.

Is it the same as psychotherapy?

No. Cognitive rehabilitation focuses on training cognitive functions and practical strategies; it can be combined with psychotherapy if the person needs it, but they are different processes.

Does it work for adults with ADHD who already take medication?

Yes, they are complementary approaches: medication and cognitive rehabilitation do not replace each other.
